Union Minister Vaishnaw Praises Fadnavis for Land Reforms, Backs Pune AI Data Centre Manufacturing

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Wednesday praised Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for implementing land reforms in the state. The remarks came during the inauguration of Jabil India Pvt Ltd's new advanced manufacturing facility in Pune, which will produce components for AI data centres.

Vaishnaw highlighted India's shift from a control-driven economic model to a reform-oriented framework. He noted that structural changes were necessary to boost manufacturing and growth, stating that India's earlier socialist mindset created significant barriers in the economy, particularly in the manufacturing sector.
